Lancée à la fin 2018, agile marque le début de mon travail personnel comme joaillière.

Réalisatrice multimédia, conceptrice de contenu et directrice artistique avec notamment Moment Factory, le Cirque du Soleil et le Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal, la joaillerie me permet d'interpréter et de transcrire le monde qui m’entoure en explorant d’autres méthodes de création. 

Je m'intéresse à l’objet qui traverse le temps et qui s’altère lentement. Le bijou  correspond à cette curiosité; les pièces à première vue figées portent en elles la beauté du mouvement. Je suis interpelée par la pureté des formes, le point d’équilibre entre le raffinement et le brut.

Les collections agile. sont entièrement réalisées à Montréal.

Launched in the fall of 2018, agile. marks the debut of Catherine Nadeau’s work as a jewelry designer.

With many years’ experience as a multimedia director, concept designer and artistic director for organizations such as Moment Factory, Cirque du Soleil and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, jewelry design had allowed Catherine to interpret and transcribe the world around her while exploring other modes of creation.

I am interested in the object as it passes through time and the ways in which it is subtly altered. The jewelry piece corresponds to this curiosity; upon first glance, each piece is a still life that carries a sense of beauty and movement within it. I am fascinated by the purity of form, the point of balance between something that is at once brute and refined.

The agile. collections are entirely hand crafted in Montreal.
